A Enhanced Weather System, or referred to as a EWS is a type of storm system that forms when a Post-Tropical Cyclone meets a derecho and some supercells causing a strong severe weather event that will likely produce very powerful winds, very large hail and very powerful tornadoes...tornadoes produced by a EWS will average about a mile wide and will usually be rated a EF4, and sometimes be rated EF5...very little EWS's have occurred...the first recorded being on June 14-15, 2004 spawning 4 F4 tornadoes and 2 F5 tornadoes...the most powerful tornado on record was produced by a EWS, the 2016 Macon tornado was produced by a EWS.
